Nayla Al Khaja to unveil Canon’s flagship Cinema Camera – EOS C700 for the Middle East at CABSAT 2017.

Canon Middle East brings to the region its highly anticipated cinema camera , the EOS C700, regarded as the brand’s flagship, at CABSAT 2017.

The next generation EOS C700 digital cinema camera, incorporates Canon’s learnings based on professional feedback from across the world and the Middle East over the last five years, since the original cinema EOS C300 was announced.

With an all-new modular design aimed at high-end cinema production, the C700 brings an all new power and flexibility expected in the A-Camera market. featuring a Super35mm sensor that shoots up-to 4.5K, numerous recording options, and an upcoming RAW update, the C700 promises superb image and build quality.

Alongside the EOS C700, Canon will also launch its XC15 4K UHD Camcorder that incorporates a Canon 4K video lens that leverages proprietary Canon optical technologies derived from years of experience in developing cinema, broadcast and EF series lenses.

At CABSAT 2017, Nayla Al Khaja will join a discussion with fellow female filmmakers on March 22, on the topic of “Women Filmmakers in the Arab World”, hosted by Canon, together with The Scene Club. The discussion will focus on challenges and opportunities for women from the region in the film industry, and how they can take their ambitions to the big screen.

At the show, broadcast and cinematography professionals will be able to get hands-on with Canon’s full range of advanced technologies, and have the opportunity to experience the full power of its optics portfolio including Canon’s extensive range of lenses, from broadcast to cinema and EF lenses.
